Eight Steps for a Successful Website
I. Discovery Initial meetings and conference calls allow JVM&C to collect information and learn about your company’s history, goals, objectives, and expectations for the site. Suggestions, recommendations and options are also discussed in order to obtain a clear view of the full breadth of the site desired. E-commerce, data collection, security issues, back-end applications, reporting features and messaging calendars are a few of the options possible.

II. Site Plan Map After "discovery", JVM&C analyzes your information and develops a
Comprehensive site plan map. This map serves as a blueprint from which to build your web site. This phase provides an opportune time to make any additions and changes prior to the programming stages. A timeline, schedule and delivery plan is developed at this time.

III. DesignThe design of your site should visually communicate the message of your firm while it works to strengthen your brand, and sell your products and services. We work to build a distinct graphical user interface (GUI) that sets you apart from your competition and organizes your information. Design concepts will be presented on storyboards for your review and approval.

IV. Content DevelopmentContent development is the collecting of words (copywriting), photos, illustrations, and company information for the purpose of including it on your web site. We begin to build the outline developed in the plan map in phase two by collecting the “pieces” to your site. This phase also includes converting and repurposing existing artwork and photos to a web-ready format.

V. Programming
The pieces come together to bring shape to your web site during programming. The site plan map created in phase II continues to serve as a guide in development. The design, colors and style developed in phase 3 is a reference to help maintain continuity and the content collected in phase 4 provides the important data. JVM&C programs your site in one or a combination of industry standard code that is optimized for speed, scalability and performance including html, Flash, Director, and cold fusion.

VI. Testing Your web site will go through various Beta testing applications. This process is meant to find any serious bugs in the coding or implementation of the site and its programming.

VII. Deployment At this phase your site goes "live" to the world wide web. It is fully tested, functioning, and accessible. Training and tutorial services, especially for back-end applications and software updates pertaining to the site, are performed and demonstrated.

VIII. Post Development and Enhancement Companies are continually changing. That’s why your site should be monitored and regularly updated. JVM&C provide maintenance to your web site on an as-needed basis or at regular intervals depending on your needs
